Heart of the South

 

Cracow is the former capital of Poland and the most popular tourist destination. During this trip participants will have an opportunity to see the most beautiful landmarks of Cracow. The Cloth Hall Sukiennice is the large trading centre and the place where tourists can purchase maserpices of handicraft. At St Mary’s Church participants will have possibility to see the greatest masterpiece of Gothic art in our country- high altar. Moreover every hour the hejnał (bugle call) is played from the church tower in order to commemorate the destruction of the city during 13 thcentury by Tatar raids. You will visit The Royal Castle - the former residence of Kings, where tourists can admire wonderful Representative Chambers, Private Royal Apartments and Reinassance Courtyard of Italian style and The Wawel Cathedral- the place were Polish Kings were buried. During your stay in Cracow we will also show you The Kazimierz Jewish district which is known for beeing home for Jewish community from the 14 th century. What is more you will have a chance to visit The Salt Mine Wieliczka - one of the ancient mines in the world functioning since the Middle Ages. You can admire rooms and sculptures carved in salt. The Salt Mine Wieliczka has been put on UNESCO World Heritage List. 

House of John Paul II- Polish Pope

Our guide will introduce you to John Paul II House. Whole exhibition describes and commemorates life and activity of Polish Pope. Participants will see huge collection of photos, documents and furniture which in the past was the property of John Paul II. After sightseeing we invite for favourite Pope’s cake called- ,,kremowka”

We would like to invite you to Gdańsk (1000 old city on the Baltic coast), where you will have possibility to see St Mary’s Church and purchase jewelery made from polish amber. We will show you the Artus Court with the Neptun fontain which attracts visitors from all over the world. The whole interior is full of sculptures, paintings and ship models. Moreover you will spend unforgettable time during cruise to Westerplatte (place where II World War started)

Sopot

Sopot is known for beeing health resort and a cultural centre. It hosts a number of various events including tennis tournaments and horse races. It’s a place where International Song Festival is held. You will have a walk through five hundred metre long wooden Pier. Moreover you will have a chance to see famous Forest Opera located in the forest valley and sample delicious fish dish.

Gdynia

Gdynia is one of the youngest polish cities and its  most recognisable landmark is a port. Nowadays this polish city is one of the main polish tourist resorts and business centres. During your stay in Gdynia you must visit the Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium which includes huge exhibition of flora and fauna. Visitors will be attracted by sun and cheerful atmosphere of the place !
