The Congress Hall
The Congress Hall constitutes an extensive Convention Center Complex which may seat up 2 800 people. With its long and bright foyer spreading around and offering a magnificent view over the western part of Warsaw the Congress Hall provides a sensational place for organization of unforgettable meetings, receptions and exhibitions. 2 800 seats are equipped with the possibility of direct translations. The eight translator stations serve all simultaneous translation needs. The modern amplifying equipment and lighting can satisfy all demands.
A sufficient number of doorways and cloakrooms and spacious foyers flanking the hall prevent guests from ever feeling overcrowded, even at the biggest and most popular events. The backrooms of the Congress Hall are adapted both to receive musical groups and to provide a venue for topical committee sessions or for other smaller teams meetings during conferences.
On the second floor (straight from the Main Hall from Marszałkowska street) there are three halls: the Marble (1000 m2) , City (1000 m2) and Trojka (340 m2) hall. From the Marble Hall we have access to the "anexes": three smaller halls: the Korczak (370 m2), Mikołajska (280m2) and Sienkiewicz (150 m2) hall. Easy capability to join these halls makes it possible to separate the reception hall from the buffet or the conference halls from the exhibition hall. On the IVth floor there are five exhibition halls and two conferences rooms: the Rudniew Hall (100 seats) and the Warsaw Hall (for 320 persons) which is like a miniature of the Congress Hall. All halls are equipped in a similar way (for simultaneous translation of four languages) and can seat 320 people. There are three little salons off the Warsaw Hall furnished for relaxation or conference activities.
On the VIth floor there are conference halls one for 530 people and two, each for 100 people. The Concert Hall was completely renovated in February 2000. It boasts the finest in sound equipment (recording sessions are possible), modern electric backup and translation equipment (up to four languages simultaneously). The hall has seats for 530 people. The additional adjacent rooms can serve as dressing and relaxing rooms or as venues for smaller gatherings.
A large foyer guarantees ease in providing the guests with coffee breaks, holding banquets for all participants or setting up company stands that accompany the event. In the case of functions requiring more extensive conference support facilities, the nearby Renaissance and Gałczyński Halls can be added to the Concert Hall package. These twin halls are located symmetrically around the Concert Hall. The entrances to them from the Concert Hall foyer allow their use as a supplement to it or for separate functions.
